THERE’S snow stopping Christmas queen Mariah Carey as she heralds the festive season in a flurry of fake flakes.

The 54-year-old singer wore a rose gold underwear set and clutched a furry stole to show offΒ Victoria Secret’sΒ holiday range.

Mariah β€” famed for her festive hit All I Want For Christmas Is You β€” also posed in red lingerie with her twoΒ Jack Russell pups.

In a promotional clip the We Belong Together star expressed her excitement about the beginning of what she described as β€œMariah season.”

MariahΒ was born on 27 March 1969.

She is the daughter of Patricia Hickey, an opera singer and vocal coach, who trained her daughter in opera singing from the tender age of three.

Her father, Alfred Roy Carey, was an aeronautical engineer.

At just 17, Mariah moved toΒ New York CityΒ to pursue aΒ singingΒ career.

After working part-time jobs to pay rent for her one-bedroom apartment in Manhattan – which she shared with four other girls – Mariah released her debut single Vision of Love at the age of 20.

The song is still widely viewed as one of her most accomplished works.

The release was a hit, and the young popstar won twoΒ Grammy AwardsΒ for best new artist and best female pop vocalist.

The world-famous All I Want for Christmas Is You was released in 1994.

She is currently facing a lawsuit regarding the festive track.
