It’s not easy keeping up with Kim’s scandals.
Billionaire beauty mogul Kim Kardashian faced a fresh wave of backlash Monday after being named an ambassador for the embattled Balenciaga brand.
“For several years now, Balenciaga’s designs have been a part of my many looks — and some of my most iconic fashion moments. This historic fashion house embraces modernity, craftsmanship and takes an innovative approach to design under Demna,” Kardashian, 43, said in an official brand statement in regard to the fashion house’s creative director.
“For me, this long-standing relationship is built on mutual trust and a commitment to doing what’s right,” the reality TV star continued. “I’m excited about this next chapter for the brand and to become their ambassador.”
The Post reached out to Kardashian for comment.
Her announcement comes nearly two years after she cut ties with Balenciaga following a controversial and disturbing campaign that many believed promoted child pornography. The advertisements featured two young toddlers holding stuffed animals in what appeared to be BDSM bondage gear.

News of Kardashian’s collaboration with the embattled brand did not sit well with several of her fans.
“Supporting genocide and pedophilia. #cancelkimkardashian,” one fan wrote on an Instagram post.
“Kim will support anything and do anything for money. Even a brand ambassador for pedophilia,” a second person slammed.
“Congratulations on becoming the ambassador of the pett to feel ya,” chided a third person.

At the time of the controversy, the mother of four said that she was “shaken” by the campaign’s “disturbing images.”
“I have been quiet for the past few days, not because I haven’t been disgusted and outraged by the recent Balenciaga campaigns, but because I wanted an opportunity to speak to their team to understand for myself how this could have happened,” Kardashian stated at the time of the campaign.
“The safety of children must be held with the highest regard, and any attempts to normalize child abuse of any kind should have no place in our society — period,” she continued. “I appreciate Balenciaga’s removal of the campaigns and apology. In speaking with them, I believe they understand the seriousness of the issue and will take the necessary measures for this to never happen again.”

The Skims founder, who has donned several outfits from Balenciaga in the past, later posted that she was “re-evaluating” her relationship with the brand.
“As for my future with Balenciaga, I am currently re-evaluating my relationship with the brand, basing it off their willingness to accept accountability for something that should have never happened to begin with — & the actions I am expecting to see them take to protect children.”

Balenciaga creative director Demna also issued an apology for the shocking campaign.
“I want to personally apologize for the wrong artistic choice of concept for the gifting campaign with the kids and I take my responsibility,” Demna, 42, said in a statement. “It was inappropriate to have kids promote objects that had nothing to do with them. As much as I would sometimes like to provoke a thought through my work, I would NEVER have an intention to do that with such an awful subject as child abuse that I condemn.”
