Lisa (Blackpink) affirmed her position as “Instagram Queen” of Kpop with the highest increase in followers in 2023.

Hype Auditor has just announced a list of 10 Kpop artist and group accounts with the highest follower growth in 2023.

Topping the rankings is Lalisa Manobal (Blackpink’s Lisa), known as lalalalisa_m on Instagram. Lisa’s account saw an incredible increase of 12.7 million new followers in 2023.

This achievement helped Lisa set the record of the first Asian music artist, the first Kpop artist and the first Thai artist to surpass 100 million followers on Instagram.

Notably, Lisa is one of only 39 global accounts to achieve this achievement.

In 2nd place is Roseanne Park (Blackpink’s Rosé), with the Rosie_are_rosie account attracting 7.5 million new followers in 2023. Rosé currently has 75.7 million personal account followers, ranking 4th. among Kpop idols.

Lee Felix (Stray Kids group) won 3rd place, with 7.4 million new followers to his account in 2023. In particular, Felix’s growth rate reached 187%, the highest among all accounts are in the list.

All of these accounts are ranked among the 500 fastest growing accounts globally by 2023, Hype Auditor notes.

Additionally, these Kpop groups and artists also show high engagement rates with their followers. Instagram engagement rate measures how actively users engage with content. A high engagement rate indicates strong, positive engagement with the content shared on the account.

By comparison, even with the highest subscriber growth, Cristiano Ronaldo, who is in first place, still has an engagement of just 1.68%.

In 4th to 10th place are: Blackpink group Jennie (7.3 million new followers), NewJeans group (6.5 million), Aespa group Karina (5.83 million), BTS group Suga (5 8 million), V of BTS (5.3 million), J-Hope of BTS (5 million), Blackpink (4.4 million).
