After spending some of the time since breaking up with Pete Davidson getting tattoos related to him covered over, Ariana Grande has hit out the comedian after he poked fun at their split in the latest trailer for Saturday Night Live.
The 25-year-old ‘God Is Woman’ singer had been lapping up the praise for her BBC special, that showcased songs from her new album Sweetener, when her tone took a dark turn.
It must have been the point at which Ariana saw her ex making fun of their engagement ending in a trailer for SNL, which sees the return of Jonah Hill.

In it, 24-year-old Pete turns to guest singer Maggie Rogers and asks: “Hey Maggie, I’m Pete. You wanna get married?”
After Maggie quickly declines, Pete responds by saying that he’s now, “0-3”, seemingly referencing previous dalliances with Larry David’s daughter Cazzie David and also Carly Aquilino.
It is not certain how serious that these relationships were but it seemed that Pete was ranking them up with there with Ariana, to who he was engaged.
Ariana was not feeling the humour of this and seemingly took aim at her former lover on Twitter with a cutting tweet that read, “for somebody who claims to hate relevancy u sure love clinging to it huh.”
This preceded Ariana then posting a series of tweets and retweets in which she shared her obvious disgust at Pete’s skit.
Next up, Ariana posted a short but not so sweet, “thank u, next.” followed by quote tweeting one of her fans that had posted, “SNL is about to milk their breakup just like they did with the engagement.”
It had been a whirlwind romance, with the pair getting engaged in June, just weeks after they started dating.
With civility now seemingly out of the window, Ariana finished her disapproval of Pete’s funny lines with a tweet that read, “k that’s the last time we do that.”
Ariana was taking some time out to “heal and mend” after a stressful time in which her former boyfriend Mac Miller, died from an apparent drug overdose, as well as her relationship collapsing with Pete.
