Sandra Bullock turned on the glamour as she arrived at the Women In Film Awards in Los Angeles on Tuesday night.
The Gravity star, 50, wore an asymmetrical midnight blue top with a midnight blue and purple floral-patterned skirt for the gala that honored her Practical Magic co-star Nicole Kidman and other female industry heavyweights.
The actress slicked back her brunette locks from her face and then let her hair falls in soft curls around her shoulders. She completed the look with smoky eyes and a pink lips.
The busy actress is in the midst of a publicity tour for the upcoming animated feature Minions to which she lends her voice along with Mad Men star Jon Hamm.
But she still found the time to attend the event which also serves as a fundraiser for the Women In Film organization that advocates for equal treatment for women in the film and television industry.
In fact, in 2005, she was honored with the same award that Kidman was given – the Crystal Award For Excellence In Film.
Minions, which comes out on July 10, is a prequel to the wildly popular Despicable Me series.
Bullock hasn’t been seen o the big screen since the 2013 film Gravity, which earned her a Best Actress Academy Award.
During a promotional interview for the movie with an Australian radio station earlier in the day, the star explained that her five-year-old adopted son Louis is the main focus of her life right now.
‘When he’s off to college we’ll divert my attention to something else, but right now it’s all about Lou,’ she said on the KIIS Network.
