Rihanna Gets Decked in Statement Coat, Mini Skirt and Piles of Pearls for Birthday Boat Ride in Venice

The singer was joined by her beau, A$AP Rocky, with whom she shares two kids, in the city of love

Rihanna is ringing in her 36th year in style.

The fashion mogul and her beau A$AP Rocky jetted off to Venice to spend a few days in the Italian city together and she wore a show-stopping look as they took in the sights.

She and the rapper, 35, were spotted boarding a boat on Wednesday as they enjoyed a romantic — and private — tour of the city’s famous Grand Canal, and Rihanna was dressed to impress for the occasion.

Rihanna served up some major coat envy in a black, fur-lined leather coat from Japanese designer Junya Watanbe’s Fall/Winter 2023 collection, featuring some standout details like a snakeskin print on the sleeves with a rope detail.

Under the oversize coat, she wore a cream-colored mini with a white lace detail that popped out from under the hem. She also sported two different Dior bags for the outing, a black Lady Dior bag and a vintage saddle bag from the fashion house’s Fall/Winter 2004 collection. The mink eel distressed saddle bag by John Galliano matched perfectly with the white fur look of her coat, tying the whole look together.

She’s been spotted wearing the brand previously, as the brand shared on its Instagram account in December. She was out and about in L.A. and wore a multi-strand pearl choker paired with a sheer lingerie top and baggy blue jeans under a faux fur-lined black trench. A pair of black creeper sneakers from her Fenty x Puma collaboration completed the glamorous street chic look.

During her and A$AP Rocky’s outing on Wednesday, they enjoyed the boat ride through the city of love and later visited a glassworks on the island of Murano — which Venice is famous for.

They shared a few kisses while on the boat and the hip-hop artist was seen standing up on the back of the boat laughing and smiling with his hands raised in the air.

Rihanna looked as chic as ever for the date night in a champagne silk skirt that she teamed with a tan-colored faux fur trim top featuring frills down the middle. She accessorized the look with a furry handbag and a pair of champagne-colored lace-up strappy heels.

Her rapper boyfriend looked stylish as well in a pair of dark brown pants and a matching jacket.

Supreme Court hearing which will determine the definition of a woman begins TODAY – in a case with major implications for female-only spaces

A Supreme Court hearing that will determine the definition of a woman begins today in a case with major implications for female-only spaces. The case – which has been brought by gender-critical activists – will see five justices consider the question: ‘Is a person with a full gender recognition certificate which recognises that their gender is female, a ‘woman’ for the purposes of the Equality Act 2010?’ Feminist group For Women Scotland (FWS) will argue that trans women should not be able to fill roles meant for biological women under legislation designed to ensure equal numbers of men and women on company boards.
