It seems even Hollywood heroines have their off days, with Jennifer Lawrence stepping out in Beverly Hills looking far from glamorous on Tuesday.
The brunette beauty was looking a little bedraggled as she run into a hair salon.
And, with almost an inch of blonde roots and greasy hair, it was more a beauty mercy dash then just a usual day of pampering.
Getting back to her roots: Jennifer Lawrence dashes into a Beverly Hills hair salon on Tuesday looking a little worse for wear
Having just wrapped filming The Hunger Games: Catching Fire, reprising her role as movie heroine Katniss Everdeen, leaving her hair and make up team on set has been tough on the actress.
The 22-year-old was barely recognisable with her brown locks shoved into a messy bun showing off her bad roots and wearing frumpy clothes.
Clearly promoting film Silver Linings Playbook on top of filming the latest installment of the Hunger Games blockbuster, has been a lot of work as the young actress looked tired and beyond her years as she parked her car in the high priced city of Los Angeles.
Not Hollywood glam: The 22-year-old wore loose fitting clothing hiding her trademark curves
Doing her no favours was her obviously hastily chosen clothing.
The Winter’s Bone actress donned a loose fitting grey tank which exposed her black bra with baggy black harem pants, a over-sized knit cardigan and men’s style brogues.
While her dye job was letting her down on Tuesday, the starlet is usually well coiffed and takes pride in being a hair chameleon.

Often changing between blonde and brunette, Jennifer has even been known to have her hair almost red.
For her role of Katniss, Jennifer has had to remain brunette and fans got their first glimpse of the star in the Catching Fire film on the cover of the latest issue of Entertainment Weekly on Tuesday.
Wearing her uniform ready to go into battle, the 22-year-old is pictured with newcomer Sam Claflin who plays Finnick.

In typical outspoken Lawrence style, the star dismisses her achievement of landing the lead role in the popular franchise.
‘I’m so aware of all the b.s. that surrounds Hollywood…and how everyone gets on this high horse and thinks that they’re curing cancer and it makes me so uncomfortable every time I see it,’ she told the magazine.
‘So I go in the exact opposite direction and end up saying something like ”I’m pregnant!” when I’m in two franchises.’
Blonde ambition: Jennifer posed with blonde hair for a recent retro shoot by Vanity Fair
In yet another cover out this week, Jennifer goes back to her natural blonde for a stunning retro Vanity Fair photo shoot.
In the February issue the Academy award nominated actress again was humble, dismissing her craft as stupid.
‘Not to sound rude, but [acting] is stupid. Everybody’s like, “How can you remain with a level head?” And I’m like, “Why would I ever get cocky? I’m not saving anybody’s life. There are doctors who save lives and firemen who run into burning buildings. I’m making movies. It’s stupid.”
