What’s going on guys and welcome to another Scream 7 episode from the channel where today we’re once again diving into rumours and speculation about Scream 7 and today’s video is an important one. Why is it important you ask? Well because I have collected a good amount of information and leaks from different sources and seem to have a clear picture on what possibly, remember that word, possibly, is happening with this movie.
Scream 7 is an upcoming slasher film that was officially announced to be in development on August 3rd, 2023. The film serves as a sequel to Scream VI. It also serves as the seventh installment in the Scream franchise.
Currently, the film has no director following the exit of Christopher Landon, who was originally hired to replace the Radio Silence directorial pairing, Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett.
It also has no leading actors, following the pay dispute of Neve Campbell from the previous film[1], the controversial dismissal of Melissa Barrera, and the subsequent departure of co-leading actress Jenna Ortega following Barrera’s firing.
No release date has also been announced. It was initially expected to be released in 2024, though after a series of walkouts by members of the production, it is now expected to be delayed until 2025 at the earliest. According to an announcement in Fun World’s Ghostface mask panel, Scream 7 is still expected to be released in 2025.
