So far we know very little about this except for one name coming from Mr. Musk – XMail. We also don’t know whether this email service will be tied to the billionaire’s X/Twitter social network or whether it will be a separate product.

But clearly this is something Mr. Musk is pursuing.

That’s shown by confirming it in response to the question “When do we create XMail?” by former senior leader of the security engineering team at X Mr. Nathan McGrady as follows:

“It (XMail) is coming”.

Is XMail a new project of Mr. Musk or just an idea?

Mr. Musk has many precedents for revealing frankly but extremely briefly, or even too little information about the products and services he is preparing to launch to the public.

And the above comment line is the same – it doesn’t reveal anything about XMail’s development process or announcement roadmap or even whether it’s just an idea or not.

And there’s no indication of when this Gmail and Hotmail competitor will begin testing.

But to suggest a connection between XMail and X, we also need to note that Mr. Musk was very excited about how social network information, payment… developed and operated by Tencent in China.

And before readers consider switching to XMail, it should be noted that it is not necessarily for us.

Because it is possible that in the first phase after launch, it will only stop at a privilege, a limited service for users of the social network X/Twitter who pay a monthly fee.
