A Budding Romance Between Tracy And Gregory Signals Luke Is Really Gone?

General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease there is nothing longtime GH fans want more than to see Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) reunited with Luke Spencer (Anthony Geary). So far, it seems not one of us can accept that Luke is actually dead.

We know better. GH wouldn’t do that to us, right? They wouldn’t write Luke off without a death, a goodbye, a mere appearance?

While we’re all busy crossing our fingers and hoping Geary will pause his retirement someday long enough to give Luke a proper send-off, Tracy is struggling to live in the space between his death, and the rest of her life — especially as it begins to coincide with the presumably shorter span of the rest of Gregory Chase’s (Gregory Harrison). If Gregory returns Tracy’s feelings, does that mean there is no hope for Luke ever again?

General Hospital Spoilers — Tracy Quartermaine Is Allowed To Move On

We may not believe Luke is dead, but Tracy does. She has every right to move on with her life and knows that’s what Luke would want her to do.

GH Spoilers – Suggest A New Kind Of Love Story Is On The Horizon

We’ve seen them all, right? The sappy ones, the young love, the lust, the rebound romances, the poorly timed affairs — ahem, Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) and Damien Spinelli (Bradford Anderson).

It sounds like GH writers took note when Mike Corbin (Max Gail) was dying of how much the fans loved his flirtatious demeanor — particularly with Stella Henry (Vernee Watson).

This time around, Gregory is going to die in much the same manner — without a lot of dignity of choice in the matter.

Tracy is certainly no Stella, nor is she known for adding grace to a situation. Will a late-in-light love affair with Gregory be the experience that finally softens her up?

General Hospital Spoilers — Luke Spencer May Not Reunite With That Ex

If Tracy’s budding romance with Gregory is meant to pull at our heartstrings and make us forget about the wild times she had with Luke, so be it.

We have to ask where that leaves Luke when he ultimately comes back to the screen as we all expect him to.

Perhaps by that point, Tracy will have long moved on and will be grieving the latest love of her life.

That could leave room for what many longtime GH fans see as the most fitting of goodbyes for Luke’s decades-long storyline: A reunion with Laura Collins (Genie Francis).

Can’t you see it now? Stay tuned for more GH news and spoilers to see how this plays out.

The light in Wolfy’s eyes went out and his warmth, softness and presence receded into the landscape of my memory. I would never kiss his fur again, feel his warmth, or his reassuring presence leaning firmly against my knee.

The light in Wolfy’s eyes went out and his warmth, softness and presence receded into the landscape of my memory. I would never kiss his fur again, feel his warmth, or his reassuring presence leaning firmly against my knee. My dearest companion was gone. I bent double and let out a long and primal scream. Someone handed me a glass. Our neighbourhood’s much-loved vet, Andrew Carmichael, was there holding a stiff whisky and also wiping away tears. Now in his 80s, Andrew has euthanised countless animals, yet…’This job gets harder, not easier,’ he said. ‘Here’s to dear Wolfy and to the others that follow. You will love many more dogs in your life.’
