This summer will be a big one for soccer in the United States. The country will be hosting the 2024 Copa America, in preparation for the 2026 FIFA World Cup, which will also be held there.
With another international tournament coming up, the time has come for jersey manufacturers to whip up their best designs for the national teams they sponsor. For Adidas, it’s important that they knock it out of the park, especially since they sponsor the current South American and World champions, Argentina. As well as their captain, Lionel Messi.
The Copa America 2024 could prove to be the last dance for Lionel Messi in the Argentina jersey. The 36 year old guided his country to the FIFA World Cup title in 2022 and the onus will be on him to finish his international career on a winning note.
Ahead of the Copa America, Adidas has unveiled the new Argentina kit which will be seen in the upcoming continental tournament. USA is going to be the sports hub for the next few years as both the Copa America and the FIFA World Cup 2026 will be conducted there.

Argentina’s kits for 2024 Copa America released
On Wednesday, Argentina’s kits for the upcoming Copa America were revealed.
The home kit features the classic “Albiceleste” stripes pattern, with the patches on the jersey brimming with gold. Argentina’s home shirts typically feature black somewhere, but it appears gold is the main star this time around.
The away kit is minimalistic but has some intriguing details; particularly the light blue and white stripes on either side.

Argentina wasn’t the only nation whose kits were revealed. Adidas dropped the new-look jerseys for all of the nations they sponsor.
