Can Ava Keep Her Word To Nina, Or Will She Become The Woman That Comes Between Sonny And Her Bestie?

General Hospital spoilers reveal Ava Jerome (Maura West) made a promise to her so-called best friend, Nina Reeves Corinthos (Cynthia Watros), that she would help mend her fractured marriage to Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard).

There’s just one problem. Not only does Sonny not want anything to do with his soon-to-be ex-wife, but he’s starting to show an interest in Ava instead!

Ava may think positioning herself between them as marital mediator will help her deny her own budding attraction toward the mafia master, but she’s fooling herself as well as she is Nina.

General Hospital Spoilers — Ava Jerome Takes A Step Back

Feeling guilty for the embrace she and Sonny exchanged in the hospital chapel, Ava is going to take a step back from her relationship with the notorious mobster. Besides, Nina had some very valid points. Sonny’s profession is dangerous.

Ava got out of the mob ages ago because she didn’t want to be in that world as a professional woman and mother. She wanted a somewhat normal life — even if she was co-parenting with a renowned mobster.

She’s not receding from the danger of Sonny’s world so much as the danger of becoming his new bedfellow, and Sonny is sure to take note of that.

GH Spoilers – Hint Sonny Corinthos Loves The Chase

For a woman who has been telling Nina for a couple of years now how well she knows how Sonny operates, Ava’s logic will seem to fly right out the door just when she needs it most now. There is nothing Sonny loves more than a woman who appears to be just outside of his reach.

The chemistry between him and Ava will continue to build, and he’s not going to back down from wanting to explore the tension mounting all around them.

The more Ava pulls away, the more Sonny is likely to stay interested in this game of cat and mouse. And the mob boss always gets his girl.

General Hospital Spoilers — Move Over, Nina Reeves

We all know where this is going. Sonny and Ava are on the precipice of taking their relationship to a very new place. To be honest, few fans are balking. A mafia power couple working together to reclaim Port Charles? Why not?

Ava can’t deny she seems to like the idea of being back in that world — but for the power, not the danger.

Still, Sonny manages to keep her safe, but nothing will protect her from Nina’s wrath when she realizes Ava has been playing both sides of the fence.

Will Ava go in for the kill and shamelessly take her best friend’s husband — all the while arguing Nina lost him on her own merit? Keep checking back with us for more GH news and spoilers to find out.

I would never kiss his fur again, feel his warmth, or his reassuring presence leaning firmly against my knee. My dearest companion was gone. I bent double and let out a long and primal scream. Someone handed me a glass. Our neighbourhood’s much-loved vet, Andrew Carmichael, was there holding a stiff whisky and also wiping away tears. Now in his 80s, Andrew has euthanised countless animals, yet…’This job gets harder, not easier,’ he said. ‘Here’s to dear Wolfy and to the others that follow. You will love many more dogs in your life.’

On the surface of it, Labour’s decision to break another promise and put up university tuition fees feels like a smack in the chops for educational aspiration: just like the mean-spirited, ideological and poorly thought-out decision to charge VAT on private school fees.

On the surface of it, Labour’s decision to break another promise and put up university tuition fees feels like a smack in the chops for educational aspiration: just like the mean-spirited, ideological and poorly thought-out decision to charge VAT on private school fees. In Opposition, this government – and in particular Deputy Prime Minister Angela Rayner – made grandiose pledges about ‘free education for all throughout your life’, no doubt mindful of appealing to voters aged 18-24 who, bless ’em, still fall for this socialist claptrap. To be rowing back so quickly on that vow is an embarrassment, even a betrayal. It doesn’t really matter that the fee increase, at least for the first year, is relatively modest at £285, up from £9,250.

Nikita Hand, 35, has alleged that Mr McGregor and his friend James Lawrence, of Rafters Road, Drimnagh, both had sex with her twice without her consent in a Dublin hotel penthouse, following a cocaine-fuelled party. She claims she was left extensively bruised and scratched following the assault, during which she claimed Mr McGregor held her in a ‘stranglehold’.
