General Hospital (GH) spoilers note there’s a ton of sparks between former rivals Ava Jerome (Maura West) and Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard). While some fans are rooting this couple on, some are skeptical about Ava’s intentions and just how fast she’s gotten so close to the mob boss.
General Hospital Spoilers – What Are Ava Jerome’s Intention?
GH spoilers suggest that Ava has bonded with Sonny during a very tumultuous time. Between banishing his wife, Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros), due to her SEC secret, and placing distance between him and Carly Spencer (Laura Wright), as well as Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell), Sonny has also lost his right-hand man, Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) too.
All because of yet another secret that surfaced; how Heller came to be in Port Charles, and how Michael hired him to become a mole in the mob boss’s organization to feed to the feds.
Sonny has had no one to turn to, but Ava. In an effort to protect Avery Corinthos’s (Grace and Ava Scarola) mom, Corinthos has gone above and beyond to keep Ms. Jerome safe in light of a threat to her life. In the process, she’s become his closest confidante.
GH Spoilers – Ava Jerome Has Seemed Shady, As Of Late
When it was revealed that Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) was one of the shooters above Selina Wu’s (Lydia Look) warehouse, Ava couldn’t wait to show Sonny the information.
She rushed away, without giving Damian Spinelli (Bradford Anderson) a chance to go with her and explain things to Corinthos.
She was quick to add doubt to Sonny’s mind when it came to Jason and was fast to plant the seed that Stone Cold had betrayed him.
Many fans raised an eyebrow at this, as it was almost like Ava was overly trying to convince Sonny of something because she, herself, had something to hide.
Ava’s been a known villainess for years. As a member of the Jerome family, she has past ties to the mob.
Interestingly, Olivia Jerome (Tonja Walker) fell victim to the mystery boss, looking to take out all other bosses in the Port Charles area, including Selina Wu; it’s even more interesting that she and Ava were mortal enemies.
It’s hard not to notice that Ava barely bat an eyelash upon learning about her sister’s passing. After all, even Kevin Collins (Jon Lindstrom) mourned a little after his serial killer brother, Ryan Chamberlain, died.
Could it be that Ava is the culprit behind all these shootings and is simply playing Sonny from the “inside”?
