Not long after scoring the winning goal for Manchester United against Liverpool, ADAM DIALLO was sent off.
As extra time was ending, the Ivorian scored a goal in the last minute to give Manchester United a famous 4-3 win over their fierce enemies and make Old Trafford go crazy.
As the 21-year-old winger celebrated with the people, he took off his shirt because he was upset.
And since he had already been given a yellow card five minutes before, judge John Brooks had no choice but to give him another one.
Early on, Scott McTominay gave the Red Devils the lead, but Mo Salah and Alexis Mac Allister scored twice right before halftime to give Liverpool a 2-1 lead.
£86m man Antony was a surprise hero for Manchester United when he scored his second goal of the season to tie the game in the 87th minute.
It’s interesting that both of the Brazilian’s goals this season have come in the FA Cup.
There was a moment in extra time when Harvey Elliott scored a goal that seemed to put Liverpool back on track to win.
Rashford tied the game, though, and Diallo won it in extra time.
When Diallo scored, he was seen being led down the hallway by Manchester United’s security guards. He didn’t know what to do.
The player who used to play for Atalanta said about his red card, “I forgot about the first yellow, so I’m very upset about that.”
“But the most important thing for me is to win, and to do it against a big team like Liverpool is a dream… a big, big moment for me.”
Because he was fired, Diallo will have to serve a ban.
He will NOT be banned from Man Utd’s FA Cup semi-final against Coventry, though.
Instead, he will not be at Manchester United’s next Premier League game on March 30 at Brentford.
Manchester City, who won last year, will play Chelsea in the other semi-final.
