Diane Has A Proposal For Alexis-Does She Want To Return To The Bar?

General Hospital spoilers and updates tease Diane Miller (Carolyn Hennesy) will have a proposal for her former law partner and friend Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn). Alexis is frustrated with the direction her paper, “The Invader” has been taking since Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) bought it out-might she want to return to the bar?

General Hospital Spoilers – Nina Reeves Added A Gossip Column

One thing that Alexis didn’t want the paper to become after Shawn Butler (Sean Blakemore) sold it to Valentin is a gossip rag-like when Peter August (Wes Ramsey) had it.

Alexis has fought tooth and nail to keep the paper relevant and bringing social issues to the forefront-but her new boss, Nina didn’t think they were selling enough papers.

She wanted to expand The Invader’s reach and market, and attract more readers-Alexis doesn’t care about that, to her, the paper is like being on a mission.

Alexis has been talking a lot to Diane about her issues with Nina’s takeover and her conflicts with Nina, period.

The two are like oil and water and will never see eye to eye on anything, period-she’s turning The Invader into a piece of overpriced fluff!

GH Spoilers – Gregory Chase Is In Declining Health

To make things even worse, Gregory Chase (Gregory Harrison) is in declining health and when he has to step down permanently, it would be Alexis and Nina alone!

Gregory has kept the office safe, keeping Alexis from strangling Nina with her bare hands, and she has been tempted, more than one time.

Nina is only ruining what Alexis had worked so hard to build from the bottom up, and destroying the customer base that she once had.

Apparently, there are not that many people who appreciate quality journalism these days and Nina is only driving what there were away!

General Hospital Spoilers – Do You Want To Return To Practicing Law?

Diane asks Alexis does she want to return to practicing law-it has been long enough since being disbarred that she could give it another shot.

She’d probably have to take some refresher law school classes in order to prepare for trying to regain her law license. But she had recently told Diane how much she missed the courtroom, so why not pursue returning to the bar?

Alexis should certainly consider it, it would be much more fulfilling now that her journalism mission is more or less being thwarted.

Not to mention, the world is full of criminals to prosecute and wrongs to right, and the courtroom is a better vehicle than a newspaper!
