Ryan Reynolds is already training to become a superhero in preparation for Deadpool 3. Don Saladino, Ryan’s trainer, shared a few pictures of the 45-year-old actor before their exercise on Instagram on Wednesday.

When Marvel Studios unveiled the Multiverse Saga lineup at San Diego Comic-Con last month, they did not include the most recent installment in the Deadpool franchise, leaving fans wondering when production will start.

When Deadpool 1 was released in 2016, it brought in over $782 million, while Deadpool 2, the follow-up, made an even more impressive $785 million.

The storyline focused on wise-cracking gun for hire Wade Wilson who becomes disfigured after receiving super abilities.

Third time: Deadpool 3 has been in development for sometime. Ryan will reprise his role as the foul-mouthed mercenary.  Leslie Uggams, 79, will return as Blind Al.  No other cast have been announced.

Scrooge: Fans can look forward to seeing Ryan sing and dance during the holiday season as Ebenezer Scrooge in the movie musical Spirited with Will Ferrell and Octavia Spencer.

There has been no announcement on the start or estimated completion dates of the film’s production.

In the meanwhile, Ryan’s performance as Ebenezer Scrooge in the holiday musical Spirited, which is based on Charles Dickens’ beloved A Christmas Carol, will delight audiences later this year.

Octavia Spencer and Will Ferrell will be co-stars.
