Emma Stone and director Yorgos Lanthimos are teaming up once again after the success of Poor Things and The Favourite.
The Oscar-winning actress and the filmmaker have been working on another star-studded movie called Kinds of Kindness, coming to cinemas on June 21 this year. While this is likely to be when the film will be released in the US, there’s no word yet on a possible UK date but we’ll update you as soon as we know more.
Searchlight pictures shared a post on Twitter/X with a selection of photos naming the cast of the movie and release date.
Previously titled And, Kinds of Kindness will be a Poor Things reunion in its own right. Alongside Stone, actors Willem Dafoe and Margaret Qualley, who have appeared as Dr Godwin ‘God’ Baxter and Felicity in the acclaimed 2023 movie, will star in Lanthimos’s upcoming film in undisclosed roles.
Cast for the anthology movie is rounded out by Fargo’s Jesse Plemons, The Menu’s Hong Chau, Conversations with Friends’ Joe Alwyn, Elemental’s Mamoudou Athie and Euphoria’s Hunter Schafer.
Lanthimos co-wrote the script with his frequent collaborator Efthimis Filippou, with whom he co-penned the scripts of Dogtooth, Alps, The Lobster and The Killing of a Sacred Deer.

Nominated in 11 categories including Best Picture, the movie also won awards for Best Costume Design, Best Production Design and Best Makeup and Hairstyling.
Kinds of Kindness will hit US theatres on June 21. A UK release date is yet to be announced. Poor Things is available to watch on Disney+ in the UK and on Hulu in the US.
