CMT Announces Tribute Special

Today, CMT revealed plans for their TV special CMT Remembers: Toby Keith.

As per a trailer clip shared on the network’s social media, the TV special will delve deep into Toby Keith’s persona, exploring his songs, the narratives behind them, and the essence of spirit, patriotism, and rebellious independence infused into country music.

“He was one of country music’s biggest stars, but he was much more than that,” a narration detailed over the clip. “He was a symbol of the American pride and spirit that filled his songs. Join us as we say goodbye to Toby Keith.”

Some fans expressed disappointment that the special appears to be only half an hour long.
