Carly’s Obsession With Jason Has Her Hitting Rock Bottom

General Hospital (GH) spoilers note that Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) has been a wreck since Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) returned to town. While she’s happy he’s alive, with the situation he’s in, she’s terrified that she’ll lose him again. Could she hit rock bottom in the process?

General Hospital Spoilers – Carly Spencer Is Spiraling

GH spoilers suggest that Carly can’t seem to focus on anything at the moment, except for Jason.

Makes sense, as, unlike some others in Port Charles, she only saw Stone Cold for mere moments, until she was interrupted by Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) and John “Jagger” Cates (Adam J. Harrington).

During the Tuesday, March 26 episode, Carly found out Jason was at the police station and went running to see him, which seems completely crazy; how would she gain access to a felon if she wasn’t his lawyer?

Why did she think she could talk to him there? Was she simply there to make sure he was okay (health-wise), or just to cop a look? The scene of her staring at Jason while he was talking to Anna, seemed creepy at best. Is she spiraling?

GH Spoilers – Carly Spencer’s Dealing With Trauma

While it’s prevalent in the land of daytime for someone to be presumed dead, only to come back to life, the truth is, Carly losing Jason was traumatic. In many ways, the very thought that he’s alive and in the same town as her, without really having access to him, is equally as painful.

Of course she is acting a bit crazy, but it’s justified, on some level. After all, Jason was Carly’s everything. She’s lost him twice already, and he’s come back. After the dust settles, she’ll likely want to place him in a bubble so that he never leaves her again.

But in this need to “protect” Jason, assuming that at some point he gets released from custody, will it all become far too overwhelming? Carly’s not only a business owner, but still the mother of a young child. She has a busy life she needs to focus on, but could she push all this aside?

Will she also push away anyone who doesn’t support Jason’s innocence? Could her relationship with Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy), who hates the mob life, be fractured? What about Carly’s bond with Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard)?

Will Carly’s obsession with Jason have her hitting rock bottom? Comment below. Watch the long-time ABC soap daily so you don’t miss a moment of the drama and visit this site often for the best General Hospital updates and spoilers.

Net zero is no longer mere policy. It has mutated into a religious cult, and Energy Secretary Ed Miliband is its High Priest. All of us are being forced to bow down at its altar, obedient to the cosmic law of decarbonisation. And as a report by the National Energy System Operator [NESO] confirmed yesterday, a huge price will be extracted to enforce our obedience. That price is likely to include swingeing financial penalties for ordinary households that dare to consume electricity at peak times. Heating your home, running a dishwasher or washing machine, watching TV or simply boiling a kettle will become far more expensive.
