Next month will see the debut of Catching Dust.
A first look at The Boys star Erin Moriarty’s new movie Catching Dust has been unveiled, as well as a UK premiere date.
The new film was announced last year, and sees the actress play Geena, a woman hiding out in a trailer in a commune because her criminal husband Clyde (Jai Courtney) has told her to.
Geena is desperate to join the outside world, though when she decides to leave, a New York couple called Amaya (Dina Shihabi) and Andy (Ryan Corr) arrive. She convinces Clyde to let them stay, leading to dangerous consequences.
It has now been confirmed that Catching Dust will premiere in the UK at the Raindance Film Festival in London, with the screening set to take place on October 28 at the Curzon Soho. Tickets are on sale now.
A first look at the movie has also been released, showing Moriarty and Courtney in character inside the trailer.
The film has been directed by Stuart Gatt, with producer Jon Katz previously expressing excitement about the project.
“I am so proud to be part of the team bringing Stuart Gatt’s singular vision to the screen and we are excited to be working with this terrific cast,” he said.
“Catching Dust was one of the most exciting scripts that I had come across and testament to that is the quality of actors who have come aboard Stuart’s first feature.”
Moriarty is currently prepping for the release of The Boys season 4, and the actress recently teased that the new episodes will go “deeper” with the characters.
