Emma Stone cuts a stylish figure in a plunging black skirt suit and heels as she arrives at The Late Show with Stephen Colbert in NY

Emma Stone looked stylish as ever as she arrived to film The Late Show with Stephen Colbert in New York City on Tuesday.

The Poor Things star, 35, wore a classy shimmering black blazer with gold buttons and a plunging neckline, as well as a matching skirt.

The actress — who enjoyed a surprise reunion with The Help co-star Bryce Dallas Howard earlier in the day — completed the look with sheer black stockings and matching pointed-toe black heels.

She accessorized with a gold necklace and wore her shoulder-length auburn tresses styled in light waves.

Emma accentuated her features with bright red lipstick, as she flashed a bright smile on her way in.

Afterwards she switched into a more comfortable ensemble, wearing a cozy grey sweater and navy slacks on her way out.

She completed the look with bright red loafers.

Earlier in the day she unexpectedly bumped into her former co-star Bryce while they were both taping Good Morning America segments inside Times Square studio in Midtown Manhattan.

The stars famously portrayed socialite Hillary ‘Hilly’ Walters Holbrook and writer Eugenia ‘Skeeter’ Phelan in Tate Taylor’s drama The Help, which amassed $216.6M at the global box office in 2011.

‘I’m so excited to see you! I’m so happy!’ Emma giddily gushed backstage before talking about something her mother said.

Bryce embraced Stone responding with equal enthusiasm: ‘I know! So excited! So excited!’

Tuesday marked the Oscar winner’s 10th appearance on the ABC morning talk show.

Emma (born Emily) bundled up in a chic camel coat in order to combat the freezing winter weather in New York City.

Stone – who’s been a brand ambassador for Louis Vuitton since 2017 – slipped her slim 5ft6in figure into a light-blue blouse, beige pencil skirt, and brown suede boots selected by stylist Petra Flannery.

For her role as the reanimated Bella Baxter in Yorgos Lanthimos’ big-screen adaptation of Alasdair Gray’s 1992 novel Poor Things, Emma has become the Oscar frontrunner for best actress.

Stone has already taken home the Golden Globe Award on January 7 and the Critics’ Choice Movie Award on January 14 for her wild performance.

The Arizona-born beauty will face off against Fantasia Barrino, Sandra Hüller, Carey Mulligan, Vivian Oparah, and Margot Robbie at the 77th British Academy Film Awards, which air February 18 on BBC One/BritBox International.

Emma will then have to beat Annette Bening, Lily Gladstone, Carey Mulligan, and Margot Robbie at the 30th Screen Actors Guild Awards, which air February 24 on Netflix.

The Superbad alum is technically up for two Oscars thanks to her role as producer on Poor Things, which is nominated for best picture.

‘I’m so grateful, I feel so lucky. But the best picture thing, we worked on this movie for such a long time. For the whole crew and cast, we’re very excited,’ Emma said on GMA.

‘It’s kind of amazing to get to have the opportunity to be a little bit more than kind of the feeling like a cog in a machine. I think, as an actor, you’re auditioning. You get cast in a part, and you just want to do all that you can to live up to that part, and that still is completely true.

‘But with producing, getting to weigh in on so many different aspects and be there from the ground up and help put it all together is really extremely fulfilling and really crazy to see a movie come to fruition when you’ve been there since the beginning.’

Searchlight Pictures’ $35M-budget critically-acclaimed steampunk black comedy – also starring Mark Ruffalo, Willem Dafoe, and Ramy Youssef – has amassed $51M since opening December 8.

On December 16, Stone wrapped her mystery role on the New Orleans set of the 50-year-old Greek filmmaker’s anthology film Kinds of Kindness alongside Jesse Plemons, Dafoe, Margaret Qualley, Joe Alwyn, and Hunter Schafer.

As for what’s next, the When You Finish Saving the World producer joked: ‘Sleep. I’ve been working on it for a while and it’s getting there. It’s been really exciting. I’m trying everything and I will let you know.’

On the personal front, Emma wed three-time Emmy nominee Dave McCary sometime in 2020 after meeting in 2016 at NBC’s Saturday Night Live, and they’re now proud parents of two-year-old daughter Louise Jean.
