General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) and Drew Cain (Cameron Matheson) have a complicated history to say the least.
When Jason was presumed dead the first time a few years ago, Drew showed up and everyone believed he was Jason because he had Jason’s memories.
That was all due to the memory-mapping program designed by Andre Maddox (Anthony Montgomery). Drew had been in an accident and no longer looked the same as Jason. But then the real Jason returned and Drew’s real identity as Jason’s twin was revealed.
General Hospital Spoilers – Sam McCall was torn between two brothers.
Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) fell in love with Jason years ago, but when he was presumed dead she fell in love with Drew since she believed he was Jason in the beginning. Sam eventually chose Jason, and the relationship between the twins deteriorated even further.
Drew already felt that Jason stole his identity even though that wasn’t the case. It was actually Drew who had Jason’s memories. This led to quite a bit of tension between the brother.
GH Spoilers – Drew Cain disappeared In A Plane Crash!
Jason and Drew were never close, but they did manage to co-exist. But then Drew tragically disappeared in an apparent plane crash and was presumed dead.
But he was actually a prisoner of Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) who hoped to unlock Drew’s brainwashing and create the perfect assassin.
Drew was gone for two years until Jason rescued him. Unfortunately, it was Jason’s turn to disappear and this time he was presumed dead again. Another two years have passed and now Jason is back once again.
General Hospital Spoilers – Drew Cain And Jason Morgan Have much to work through!
During Jason’s most recent absence, Drew fell in love with Carly Spencer (Laura Wright). The moment that Jason returned, Drew broke up with Carly because he knew that Jason and Carly’s relationship the most important one in Carly’s life.
Jason and Carly aren’t necessarily romantic, but they will always come first for each other. While Drew and Jason have no animosity at this point, there is no love lost either.
It’s time for these two brothers to put the past aside and become brother in more than name only. But can they put their history behind them?
