However, he might not be the only actor with such thoughtful gestures toward his crew. Producer Jerry Bruckheimer recently shared that the Die Hard star added money to the film crews’ cash giveaways to ensure that they had some extra cash by the weekends while working on the 1998 film Armageddon.

Bruce Willis starred alongside Ben Affleck and Liv Tyler in Michael Bay’s 1998 film Armageddon. The film focuses on a team of oil drillers who are sent to space to stop an asteroid on a collision course with Earth. Jerry Bruckheimer recently recalled working with Willis on the sci-fi action film.

He shared that the Glass star would regularly participate in the cash giveaways for the crew and would add a substantial amount of money to the pot to ensure that the crew members received additional cash prizes.
“They’d have drawings, and he’d throw a lot of money in the hat, and the crew members would always take away some nice extra cash at the end of the week, whoever won.”

Bruckheimer also described him as a “giving guy” and a “good friend.” Speaking to People, he said, “Bruce is such a good guy,” while expressing admiration for his kindness and generosity towards the crew during the production.
