After signing contracts with FOX and ESPN, Tom Brady and Jason Kelce will join the TV world. But how are the networks getting ready for the NFL season?

With another NFL season approaching, the networks that broadcast the country’s most popular sport are set to make big changes.

ESPN are set to bring on two Hall-of-Fame bound contributors to the game in a Super Bowl winning center and a multi-Super Bowl winning head coach.

Meanwhile, FOX Sports is set to start paying the greatest quarterback of all-time over the course of ten years.

Elsewhere, there’s controversy surrounding the replacement of two longtime analysts on one network’s pre-game and post-game show.

Here, DailyMail.com takes a look at all the changes coming to America’s NFL broadcasting networks next season.

Both FOX Sports and ESPN have instituted changes in their NFL broadcasting lineups for 2024

ESPN

ESPN has seen a big overhaul in their Monday Night Football crew with the recent addition of two names to their broadcast team.

Bill Belichick is set to take a number of big roles within the company as the notoriously silent coach will suddenly become media savvy.

Belichick has planned to join The Pat McAfee Show on a weekly basis, as the coach and former punter agreed live on air at the NFL Draft.

The former Patriots coach is already believed to be in agreement to appear on the alternate ‘ManningCast’ of Monday Night Football in a recurring role.

But he’s not the only one set to make the jump to the Worldwide Leader in Sports – with retired Philadelphia Eagles center Jason Kelce agreeing to join the pre-game desk for Monday Night Countdown.

The rest of the Monday Night Football crew remains largely intact – with Joe Buck and Troy Aikman remaining at the No. 1 broadcasting spot.

 FOX

They say ‘go big or go home’ and there might not be anyone bigger to bring in than Tom Brady.

It was a few years ago that the quarterback inked a ten-year, $375million deal to become the No. 1 color commentator for FOX’s NFL coverage.

Now, as a part of the company’s top broadcast team with Kevin Burkhardt, Brady will be slapped onto the mid-to-late afternoon contests that FOX brands as ‘America’s Game of the Week’.

Brady will once again team up with Rob Gronkowski – who remains on the desk as an analyst for the pre-game and post-game shows alongside Michael Strahan, Terry Bradshaw, Jimmy Johnson, and Howie Long.

Above all, Brady will be on hand as FOX broadcasts Super Bowl LIX from New Orleans on February 9, 2025.

CBS

While the main commentary pair of Jim Nantz and Tony Romo goes unchanged, the analysis desk will look different.

After over 20 years each at the company, former quarterbacks Phil Simms and Boomer Esiason will not be back at CBS.

Replacing them full time will be former edge rusher JJ Watt and recently retired quarterback Matt Ryan.

CBS has slots in the early and mid-afternoons, carrying mostly AFC games throughout the calendar.

The biggest change for CBS is the addition of Matt Ryan to their pre-game show desk

 NBC

While NBC only broadcasts one game a week, they call the biggest game each week on Sunday Night Football.

Unlike the other three previously mentioned networks, NBC is not set to make any major changes to their broadcast lineup.

Mike Tirico and Cris Collinsworth remain in the booth and their on-air lineup featuring studio host Maria Taylor and analysts like Tony Dungy and Jason Garrett remains in tact.

 Amazon Prime

The youngest network to routinely broadcast NFL games is not going to make any major changes either.

Amazon Prime continues with its Thursday Night Football slate with Al Michaels and Kirk Herbstreit in the booth.

Pre-game and post-game duties will still belong to Charissa Thompson and her panel of co-hosts including Ryan Fitzpatrick, Tony Gonzalez, Andrew Whitworth, and Richard Sherman.

Like NBC, Amazon doesn’t make any changes with Al Michaels and Kirk Herbstreit remaining
