Proclamation: Ronda Rousey hits back after being ‘ambushed’ in TMZ Sports interview alongside husband Travis Browne

Deception: Nikki and Brie Bella blindsided teammate Ronda Rousey and attacked her after they had won a six-way tag team at WWE Raw in Chicago on Monday

‘I got ambushed from behind,’ Ronda maintained in an interview with TMZ Sports. ‘This was much more personal I think… this was a planned attack.’

The attack seemed to come out of nowhere. The Bella Twins pounced on Rousey from behind with series of throw-downs and heavy kicks both in and out of the ring.

At one point they even dragged her by the hair back into the ring.

The UFC Hall Of Fame inductee staged a brief fightback, before being overpowered by Nikki and Brie.

When it was all said and done, the 34-year old beauties stood over their teammate, arms raised in victory and then tossed the championship belt they had all won on top of Rousey as she laid motionless.

The 31-year old MMA star says she has been trying to make new friends and be friendly since she joined the WWE in 2017.

‘I need to listen to Drake more: no new friends, no new friends at all,’ she said in the interview with husband Travis Browne standing by her side.

Ronda won’t have to wait long for her chance at revenge and redemption. She and the Bella Twins are headlining WWE Evolution later this month, in the first-ever all-women’s pay-per-view event.

‘On one hand, you can say I lost some good friends, but on the other hand I gained the knowledge that they were never friends and I can use them to benefit the whole women’s division,’ Rousey concluded.

‘The most respectful thing for me to do is to go out and beat her right away.’

WWE Evolution will be held October 28 at the Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum in Uniondale, New York.
