North West gave her first on-camera interview about her debut album Elementary School Dropout with the 13-year-old reporter behind Jazzy’s World TV while at Rolling Loud California last Thursday.
‘It’s gonna be great,’ the 10-year-old aspiring rapper smiled backstage at Hollywood Park in Inglewood, CA.
‘When’s it gonna drop?’ Jazzy asked.
North replied: ‘Like… I don’t know.’
When asked if there would be any collabs with her famous father Kanye ‘Ye’ West, West raised her arms and coyly exclaimed: ‘Mmmm, maybe! We don’t know yet!’

Jazzy then thanked the precocious fifth grader ‘for her time’ and said she ‘liked the mysterious vibe you got going on there.’
It was Kim Kardashian who facilitated the Jazzy’s World TV exclusive just as she did with little North’s first-ever interview, at age four, within her Interview cover story.
Instagram users reacted to West’s first onscreen interview by calling her ‘a legit clone’ of the 46-year-old rapper with all ‘the mannerisms’ with some noting she ‘looked nervous’ and needed to ‘get some media training.’
The PAW Patrol: The Mighty Movie actress clearly adores and looks up to Ye, and she first started officially following in his footsteps way back in March 2020 during Paris Fashion Week.
Ye beamed as his mini-me dropped bars about her ‘cool shoes’ – lyrics stolen from five-year-old YouTube star ZaZa’s 2019 original track, What I Do? – during his Yeezy season eight presentation at Espace Oscar Niemeyer.
After public outrage, the 43-year-old reality star clarified that her daughter North’s impromptu version was just a ‘remix’ and gave a ‘shout out to Zaza’ whose real name is Zahara Bean.
West once made a huge fuss about his eldest child being on TikTok (where she and Kim share 18.9M followers), but he ironically had no problem prominently featuring her guest rap on his song Talking/Once Again that dropped February 7.
In it, North rapped: ‘It’s your bestie. Miss, Miss Westie. Don’t try to test me. It’s gonna get messy. It’s gonna get messy. Just just bless me! Bless me!’

Turns out it was just a soft launch for West’s debut studio album, which she officially announced March 10 during the 24-time Grammy winner’s Vultures 2 listening party at the Footprint Center in Phoenix, AZ.
‘Hi, it’s Northie, and I’ve been working on an album. And it’s called Elementary School Drop Out!’ the avid painter said onstage to cheers from the crowd.
The title Elementary School Dropout is a direct homage to Ye’s 2004 debut studio album, The College Dropout, which went on to be certified four-times platinum and win best rap album at the Grammy Awards.
West and Kardashian’s six-year marriage ended in divorce in 2021 and he pays her $200K/month in child support for North as well as son Saint, 8; daughter Chicago, 6; and son Psalm, 4.
The Atlanta-born hip-hop star and Ty Dolla $ign will next release Vultures 3 independently on April 5 via iTunes, Apple Music, and his YZY website.
The Calabasas socialite will next continue her role as sinister publicist Siobhan Corbyn in the nine-episode 12th season of American Horror Story: Delicate, which resumes April 3 on FX.
Kim also executive produces and stars in the 10-episode fifth season of The Kardashians, which premieres May 23 on Hulu.
