Marcus Rashford launched a personal initiative as Man United Star launches ‘In-the-Box Christmas’ campaign to support Lifeshare

Marcus Rashford of Manchester United and the England national team created the ‘In-the-Box’ campaign to benefit Barnabus, Centrepoint, and Lifeshare, three homeless charities in Manchester.

The general public is encouraged to fill a shoebox with basics so that it can be distributed to adults in need over the holidays. The box drop, which will promote the campaign in cooperation with Selfridges Manchester Exchange (1, Exchange Square Central, Corporation St, Manchester, M3 1BD), will be open from 12:00-18:00 Monday through Sunday and will be located on the first floor of the menswear department.

Manchester United attacker Rashford has launched a Christmas campaign.

“With the help of my family, I packaged and distributed many gift boxes for people in need throughout Manchester over the holidays last year. Since it was one of the most rewarding experiences of the year, I was determined that this time’s activities would reach a bigger audience more effectively. To help me accomplish this, I’m happy to welcome Selfridges Manchester Exchange as a Christmas 2023 campaign partner.

This is my opportunity to give back to individuals who might not otherwise have a wonderful Christmas, as I like my hometown and am really proud of all the support it has provided me over time.

I’m expecting that a huge number of people will want to engage, allowing us to have a substantial collective influence.

“We’re thrilled that Marcus Rashford has chosen to support an attacking trident of @LifeshareUK, @centrepointuk & @BarnabusMcr with his exciting “In-the-box” campaign,” commented Lifeshare Trustee Robin Toal. This Christmas, his support will actually benefit individuals who are homeless or impoverished.
