If a live-action Naruto movie were to be made, there would be a really long hunt to find the right actor for the lead role
There have been several discussions regarding the live-action of Naruto. With so many characters in the series, our primary focus is the protagonist, Naruto. Coming up with a cast that would be suitable for playing the delightful and cheerful character is a challenging task. He is quite an eccentric character with a straight moral compass; there aren’t many young actors who would be able to portray him properly. However, here is a list of five actors who can play the role of the unpredictable shinobi in live-action.
Jacob Hopkins
Jacob Hopkins in Goldberg
Our beloved Seventh Hokage can be loud and obnoxious from time to time, but he has matured a lot through the story. Being a dad of two, Naruto has become more reserved and responsible. Jacob Hopkins would be the correct pick for playing the role of Naruto in the live-action. He has played another endearing character, Gumball, in The Amazing World of Gumball.
Kento Yamazaki
Kento Yamazaki
He isn’t a prominent actor in the Western industry, but Kento Yamazaki is a significant deal in Japan. He was scouted by the top modeling agency in Japan when Yamazaki was in his third year of Junior High. He started his movie career with Control Tower, a slice-of-life about a loner, and The Wings Of The Kirin, a drama-mystery thriller. Since Naruto is a Japanese character, Yamazaki would be an excellent fit for the character.
Oakes Fegley
Oakes Fegley in The Fablemans
Naruto has been an angry and mischievous child who wanted someone to care for him. An actor who can connect with the fans would be an ideal suit for playing the role of Naruto, as it’ll allow audiences to empathize and cheer for them. Oakes Fegley who is known for starring in Pete’s Dragon, The Goldfinch, and The War with Grandpa, would be the best guy for the job.
Kōdai Matsuoka
Kodai Matsouka
The live-action of Masashi Kishimoto’s series has raised several questions regarding who would be a good fit for Naruto. Kōdai Matsuoka will really suit the role of Naruto considering he has always played the role of Naruto Uzumaki in childhood in the stage play, titled Live Spectacle: Naruto – Uzumaki Naruto Monogatari.
