The Kansas City’s popular family, the Mahomes, were recently facing unexpected battles. Before the matchup against the Denver Broncos, Patrick Mahomes faced flu-like symptoms. And probably that is why he wasn’t able to perform well in his last game.
Moreover, it was further revealed that Brittany Mahomes also had to deal with an illness, reportedly a stomach bug. However, now that she is in top form, Brittany didn’t take any rest further. She resumed her favorite activity, and that too, with some heavy equipment.
Brittany Mahomes cannot escape the gym for a day!
Patrick Mahomes’ wife, Brittany Mahomes was reportedly suffering from a viral illness a couple of days ago. However, her illness even couldn’t stop her from hitting the gym. The 114 lbs ex-soccer player recently shared a series of videos on her Instagram stories. In the videos, the fitness freak could be seen lifting heavy weights and doing some strenuous back exercises in the gym.

Despite her recent illness, Brittany Mahomes appeared to effortlessly continue her daily exercise routine, as if she hadn’t been ill just a few days earlier. Not only that but most recently, the mother of two was seen celebrating Halloween and enjoying a snow game. All these exhausting activities, couldn’t even tire Brittany for a moment. She remains an inspiration, arguably one of the NFL’s fittest women.
Meanwhile, it’s also important to note that this viral fever has also affected Brittany’s husband, Patrick Mahomes, and it started with the youngest member of the Mahomes family.
How is Patrick Mahomes’ health now?
As Brittany Mahomes has recovered from her illness, Patrick Mahomes, who was suffering from flu, too recovered as informed by the Kansas City Chiefs coach Andy Reid. The flu-like symptoms began in Mahomes’ family, when their son, Bronze, had a stomach bug. It later spread to their daughter Sterling, and then Brittany contracted it later.

During the same course of time, Patrick Mahomes also suffered the symptoms during the game. However, this isn’t all. The quarterback is also sustaining an injury, which he got when a player mistakenly stepped on his hand during the game, causing a deep cut on his finger. However, the good news is that Mahomes is practicing with tape around his fingers.
The Chiefs will be playing their Week 9 matchup against the Miami Dolphins in Germany, before their Bye Week.
