Sheridan fought hard for Wind River’s independence following the Harvey Weinstein sexual assault scandals.

The crime drama was inspired by true events, with Olsen and Renner investigating the sexual assault and murder of a native woman on an Indian reservation in Wyoming.
Wind River was the fourth highest grossing indie of 2017 and is garnering generous amounts of Oscar buzz.
