According to Allkpop, the Korean Music Copyright Association (KOMCA) has just updated the list of Kpop idols with the most officially copyrighted songs, as of November 8, 2023.
Artists can register music copyright when they participate in composing music or writing lyrics for songs.
Among the 27 Kpop idols who have copyrighted more than 100 songs, there is only one female idol, Moon Byul of MAMAMOO. She has registered copyrights for 177 music products to date.

The 4 idols with the most copyrighted works are Ravi (former member of VIXX) with 238 songs, RM (BTS) with 218 songs, Young K (DAY6) with 175 songs, G-Dragon (Big Bang) with 175 songs, and Zico (Block B) 171 songs.
Most idols who have composed more than 100 songs take on the role of rappers in music groups. 2nd and 3rd generation idols dominate the number of songs.
BTS is the Gen 3 group with the most members who have composed more than 100 songs. That is the trio of rappers RM, Suga (169 songs) and J-Hope (138 songs). BTS’s leader RM even exceeds the number of Big Bang’s leader G-Dragon, with 43 more songs.
