Taylor Swift postponed her Eras Tour concert in Buenos Aires, Argentina, Friday night because of heavy rainfall — just hours after Travis Kelce touched down in the capital city.
“I love a rain show but I am never going to endanger my fans or my fellow performers and crew,” the 12-time Grammy winner wrote on her Instagram Story Friday.
“We’ve rescheduled tonight’s Buenos Aires show for Sunday due to the weather being so truly chaotic it would be unsafe to try and put on this concert,” she continued.
“Good news is I get to stay in Argentina longer!!”
Fans later shared videos of the storm on Twitter, showing the open-roof stadium filling with water as nothing but dark storm clouds covered the sky.

Swift is no stranger to dealing with inclement weather while trying to put on her show.
Fans withstood a multi-hour lightning delay in Nashville and a downpour in Foxboro just weeks after each other in May. However, safety has always been the singer’s No. 1 priority when deciding whether or not to perform her “entire 3.5 hour” set.
Despite the disappointing news, Kelce was able to land in Buenos Aires this morning before the storm became too intense.

The hunky NFL star, 34, flew throughout the night after attending teammate Patrick Mahomes’ charity gala on Thursday, where Swift made a very charitable donation.
Kelce, whose bye week conveniently coincides with Swift’s trip to South America, was photographed getting off of a private jet and into a waiting car.
The Kansas City Chiefs player kept comfortable on the long flight in a cream cable-knit sweater, green cargo pants and a baseball cap.

Despite his absence from Thursday night’s show, Swift seemingly sent a not-so-subtle message to her beau during the “surprise song” section of the night.
The “Cruel Summer” singer, who chooses two new songs each night to sing, performed “Labyrinth,” a song about “falling in love.”
“Oh no, I’m falling in love again / Oh, I’m falling in love,” she sang while trying to stifle a sly smile.
Saturday’s show will be the first Eras Tour concert that Kelce has seen since he started dating the pop star.
While Kelce kept mum about his bye-week plans, Page Six exclusively revealed on Wednesday that he definitely was going to be making the trek.
An insider told us the two-time Super Bowl champion would be in South America for at least one of Swift’s shows before jetting back up to Kansas City for practice on Monday.
However, Saturday’s concert won’t be the first time Kelce has seen his leading lady take the stage.
The lovebirds started dating after he tried — and failed — to make a move at her concert in Kansas City.
Before the pair started dating, the NFL player attended one of her shows in Kansas City, where he tried to give her his phone number.
Yet at the time, Kelce claimed that Swift had no interest in meeting him — until he publicly made his interest known on his “New Heights” podcast.
After his intentions made headlines, Swift seemingly caught wind of her admirer and the pair have been going strong since.
