General Hospital spoilers and rumors tease Gloria Cerullo (Ellen Travolta) will bring a family secret to the Quartermaine Thanksgiving, and it’s not the turkey recipe! This secret will make waves and shock Lois Cerullo (Rena Sofer) and Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton).
General Hospital Spoilers – What Kind Of Family Secret?
What kind of family secret could Gloria bring to the table (literally) that would create such a stir for her daughter and granddaughter?
Well, there are some things that Gloria could have found out if she had done a genealogy search-tying her family to the Quartermaines, or at least to Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison).
The Italian in the Cerullo family was from Gloria’s husband, Carmine Cerullo (John Capodice) but Gloria’s maiden name was Moore-like in Susan Moore (Gail Ramsey) Drew’s birth mother!
Susan Moore’s parents were Bert and Mary Ann Moore (uncast characters), and she was Heather Webber’s (Alley Mills) cousin on her mom’s side.
Gloria has found out there is a link between Bert Moore and her father-they were first cousins, linking her and her family to Drew also through Alan Quartermaine (Stuart Damon).
GH Spoilers – Too Many Generations To Matter, But That Means Kissin’ Cousins!
With Gloria’s father and Susan’s father being first cousins and Alan having been Drew’s father and Ned Quartermaine’s (Wally Kurth) uncle, it really complicates Lois and Brook Lynn’s family tree.
It especially complicates Brook Lynn’s family tree, who’s Ned’s daughter, making her double related to the Quartermaines through that connection, which Gloria just recently found out.
It also means when Lois married Ned, she was marrying a distant cousin, although it’s too many generations down to make it incestuous or scandalous.
For Drew, it makes him double related to Ned and double related to Brook Lynn as well, as if things weren’t complicated enough!
General Hospital Spoilers – Quit Figuring Out The Forks In The Family Tree, And Stick A Fork In The Turkey!
This year it will be a Quartermaine Thanksgiving for the books, and it looks like there might even manage to be a turkey instead of a pizza.
With the dinner conversation being how to figure out who you’re related to and how many forks there are in the family tree, someone might just say forget those forks. It’s time for everyone to stick a fork in the turkey-unless it’s pizzas made in the shape of a turkey!
If there’s actually a turkey-or maybe more than one turkey with everyone there-that might be what makes it a landmark Quartermaine Thanksgiving. Although, the doubly related Quartermaines might look at each other through different eyes!
