Reigning NFL MVP Patrick Mahomes joined the Netflix Cup broadcast, expressing his golf expertise and allegiance to the Alpine Formula 1 team, in which he is an investor.

The Kansas City Chiefs star, known for his golf enthusiasm, revealed his support for driver Pierre Gasly during the made-for-TV golf exhibition at the Wynn Golf Club in Las Vegas.

Revealed the optimal amount of beers

At the conclusion of his appearance on the Netflix Cup broadcast, Mahomes provided unique advice for Alpine driver Pierre Gasly to help the F1 driver with some golfing tips.

Mahomes suggested the golf competitors enjoy a few cold beers and, when asked about the optimal number for a televised round of golf, he humorously remarked that playing in front of fans allows him to sneak in a few more than usual.

“I don’t know if this will work for [Gasly] because he has a race this weekend, but every time I get on this stage I just get a few Coors Lights in me and it just kind of lets me loosen up, just go out there and swing it hard and see if I can hit some good golf shots along the way,” Mahomes said.

“The adrenaline gives you a little edge, so you can get a couple extras that you wouldn’t usually have on the golf course.

“So I would say around four, four-to-five, that’s kind of where you get into that good zone. If you get any more than that that’s when you just start hitting people and fans everywhere.”
