Dr. Dre, 57, is looking to part ways the California beach house he’s called a vacation home for more than 20 years. The Pacific Coast Highway property in Malibu is currently listed with Westside Estate Agency’s Kurt Rappaport for a cool $20 million.
The rapper and Beats Electronics co-founder has owned the nearly 9,000-square-foot mansion since 2000, when he purchased it for approximately $4.8 million, Dirt reported. The six-bedroom, seven-bathroom spread has appreciated greatly in the 22 years since, and the record producer appears poised to make a pretty penny off its sale.
The Compton-born mogul’s ex-wife, Nicole Young, lived through the couple’s drawn-out divorce at the three-story “contemporary beach estate” in the star-studded Carbon Beach section. The couple split last December, after more than two decades of marriage. The “Still D.R.E.” writer paid his ex $100 million in a massive settlement that determined Dre would keep the pair’s real estate properties, the rights to his music and stock options, Page Six reported at the time.
The property is located in Malibu’s celebrity-laden Carbon Beach.

It offers panoramic ocean views from every level, “soaring ceilings and walls of glass,” natural sunlight galore and “the perfect open floor plan for large-scale entertaining or intimate relaxed evenings watching the sunset on the coast.”
The carpeted primary suite is located on the top floor and has a fireplace, and an ensuite “spa-like bath” with an oversize tub and sauna. Photos also show a gym, a staircase down to the beach, two ocean-facing balconies, outdoor space galore, at least one fireplace, a sprawling kitchen, an enormous walk-in closet and a recording studio.
“This Carbon Beach property exudes total luxury and sophistication,” the listing says.
Dre previously attempted to sell the property 10 years ago, listing the crib for a variety of prices in the $11 to $12.5 million range over a period of a few months, Dirt added.
