Timothée Chalamet Goes Full Kylie Jenner in Latex Airport Look
Bradley Cooper isn’t the only one starting to dress like his rumored girlfriend. On November 18, Timothée Chalamet embraced Kylie Jenner’s love of latex at the Narita International Airport in Japan.
You read that right. The 27-year-old Oscar nominee—who wore a hoodie and jeans to his own Saturday Night Live after-party this month—opted for a designer latex duster coat for his flight to Narita, Japan. You know, the fabric known for making everything just a bit more sweaty and uncomfortable—which is exactly what you want on an airplane!
Chalamet paired the Avellano statement piece with a black t-shirt, wool LOEWE tracksuit pants, chunky boots, and obligatory black shades. Though Chalamet is likely visiting Japan to promote Wonka, this look feels more suited for The Matrix…if Neo was styled by the 26-year-old founder of Kylie Cosmetics.

I feel like I shouldn’t have to explain why this look feels so Kylie Jenner-coded—before and after her 2023 style overhaul. We’re talking about the same reality star that still loves latex so much that she recently showed up to the 2023 WSJ. Magazine Innovator Awards in a custom Ferragamo gown with a latex bustier, despite being honored at the event for her own fashion line, Khy.
She’s also a huge fan of the all-black ‘fit. Just over a week after the Innovator Awards in New York City, she wore another form-fitting black look with skinny shades to Chalamet’s SNL after party. Need I continue? Because I can.

Even the unexpected setting for Timothée Chalamet’s latex look feels inspired by the woman he’s been kissing in public since September. She is, after all, the same person that wore head-to-toe latex to her nephew’s Bar Mitzvah in December 2022. What can we say…Influencers are gonna influence.
