Lewis Hamilton calls out Christian Horner for spreading rumors that he approached Red Bull

Lewis Hamilton has now called out Christian Horner for his attention seeking nature as the Red Bull Team Principal made absurd comments about him.

The F1 town has been engrossed in drama involving Lewis Hamilton and Christian Horner recently. It all started when the Red Bull Team Principal made a sudden claim during one of his interviews ahead of the 2023 season finale in Abu Dhabi. The 50-year-old said that, earlier this year, when Lewis was embroiled in discussions regarding his future in Formula 1, he had approached Horner for a possible contract under Red Bull. Now, Lewis has been with Mercedes since 2013 and fans were shocked at learning that he was interested in breaking his decade-long partnership with the Silver Arrows just for a seat at the current F1 Champion team.

When the news reached Lewis Hamilton that Horner has claimed he approached Red Bull for a possible entry into their Austrian squad, he refused to admit to the grave allegation. And then he fired at his rival Max Verstappen‘s boss suggesting that he made such absurd comments only for clout.

There are a lot of people that like to drop my name in conversations. Because they know it will make waves. And if you’re a little bit lonely and aren’t getting much attention, that is the perfect thing to do. Just mention my name.

Lewis Hamilton is now the driver with the highest number of overtakes at a single race in 2023

The Las Vegas GP was not too merciful to the Mercedes squad of Lewis Hamilton and George Russell. The Britons failed to reach the pace that the Ferrari duo of Leclerc and Sainz had displayed. Thus, when Hamilton qualified at P10 for the Main Race during Friday’s Quali, the mood at the Mercedes garage was not quite happy. Then came the nighttime race on Saturday and Lewis was thunderous in his approach.

The Briton made 15 back-to-back overtakes on his rivals throughout the race on the all-new Vegas Strip circuit. He went on to finish in the seventh position after warding off trouble during all the race incidents that happened in Vegas. This has actually proven that Lewis Hamilton has still got his masterful skills despite his failure to win a single Grand Prix since 2021. And it gives hope to his fans that maybe, soon enough, he will get back to his victorious ways by the time his contract with Mercedes runs out in 2025.

In other news, Lewis Hamilton is currently gearing up for the last race of the 2023 season in Abu Dhabi. With this, he wil be returning to the fateful place where his epic showdown against Max Verstappen had taken place during the title-deciding race in 2021. As only 4 points separate Mercedes and Ferrari in the World Championship Standings for the Constructors’ trophy, this year’s Abu Dhabi race will be equally crucial. It remains to be seen who amongst the Silver Arrows and the Scarlet Ferraris will finally take P2 in the rankings at the end of 2023.

At present, the Royal Navy boasts two £6.2 billion aircraft carriers, the HMS Queen Elizabeth and the HMS Prince of Wales, which were only commissioned into service in 2017 and 2019 respectively. However, given the constant advancements in weapon technology, the ships may now be too susceptible to modern missiles to prove effective in wartime operation.
