The Spanish press revealed Real Madrid’s plans in the next transfer window with the ultimate targets being Kylian Mbappe and Erling Haaland.
There are only 5 weeks left until 2024. That is the time when Mbappe and Real Madrid can freely negotiate officially and legally without PSG being able to interfere. However, a transfer can only be activated in the summer of 2024 when the contract between Mbappe and PSG expires.
Mbappe landing at Real Madrid is a prospect that Los Blancos fans have been looking forward to for many years. But it doesn’t stop there, the French striker may not be the only superstar coming to Madrid.
According to AS, Real Madrid will try to recruit Erling Haaland to realize their ambition to dominate world football. The Man City striker has recently been continuously rumored to be in contact with Los Blancos. Especially after his agent, Ms. Rafaela Pimenta, appeared at the Santiago Bernabeu earlier this month.

Recruiting two of football’s biggest stars at the same time will certainly be very expensive. However, Real Madrid has the basis and conditions to implement this plan.
AS revealed that Real Madrid currently has a budget of 128 million Euros and 265 million Euros in the form of credit loans. Combined means they have about 400 million Euros to spend.
In case Haaland’s price exceeds 200 million Euros, they still have about 200 million Euros to pay to sign a contract with Mbappe. As for salaries, AS said that Real’s current salary fund only accounts for 54% of the team’s revenue and it is far below the 70% mark of the financial fairness law.
The reason Real Madrid has such an ideal salary budget is because they parted ways with a series of heroes last summer, including Mariano Diaz, Asensio Hazard and Benzema. Thanks to that, the club saved nearly 100 million Euros, enough to pay for the new star. Obviously, money is not an issue for Real Madrid right now.
