The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Claire’s DNA Test Results – Will Someone Tamper with the Outcome?

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers reveal that once Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) and the others at the lake house get out of this mess, she’s going to want DNA confirmation to find out if Aunt Jordan’s (Colleen Zenk) claims are true.

Claire Grace (Hayley Erin) will surely want firm answers one way or another as well since Jordan has clearly been lying and manipulating her from the start.

Claire grew up believing that Victoria and Cole Howard (J. Eddie Peck) simply cast her aside. Jordan made Claire think that Cole and Victoria didn’t want her, so she assumed the tale about their baby passing away was a cover story.

In reality, Victoria and Cole were duped into believing that little Eve Nicole Howard aka Claire didn’t survive.

It was Jordan who stole Claire from the hospital, so she switched her with another baby and let the Newmans feel the pain of that loss.

Of course, the Newmans can’t just take Jordan’s word for all that since she’s proven to be such a nutjob.

Claire can’t believe anything Jordan says anymore either, so it makes sense that a DNA test will happen once this life-threatening crisis is over.

From there, the writers could let Claire and Victoria get DNA evidence that they’re truly mother and daughter.

Y&R could jump right into the next phase of the storyline and play out the drama of whether Victoria can build a relationship with Claire after everything that’s happened.

On the other hand, there could be an opportunity for some DNA test tampering if the show wants to drag things out a bit further.

Could Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) and Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) decide they don’t want a permanent tie to Claire after her role in the nightmare she helped Jordan create?

Either Victor or Nikki might be responsible for bribing the right people to adjust the DNA results and make it seem like Jordan lied about Claire’s parentage – just to add to her revenge plot.

Then again, it might be Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) who makes the adjustment thinking he’s protecting Victoria. It could even be someone else on canvas with different motives entirely.

Whatever the case, DNA tests always bring the possibility for tampering on a soap, so stay tuned for updates on Claire’s looming results and whether they’ll bring genuine confirmation for Victoria.

The Young and the Restless spoilers say some important news is ahead for both Victoria and Claire!
