Taylor Swift looked stunning as she walked the red carpet at Beyonce’s Renaissance premiere in London on Thursday.
The singer, 33, who has been spending time in Kansas City with boyfriend Travis Kelce, went for old-school Hollywood glamour in a glittering sequined Balmain gown, while Beyonce, 42, flashed her underwear in a very risque gown.
Taylor’s dress showed off a lot of leg thanks to its epic, thigh-high slit, and she wore her blonde hair in soft waves with her signature feline flicks of liner and red lipstick.
She accessorized with Anito Ko glittering jewelry and Giuseppe Zanotti black platform heels.
The star is there to support her friend Beyonce, who attended her own The Eras movie premiere in LA earlier this year and flew into the UK capital on her private jet.
Beyonce made her grand entrance wearing a fitted black blazer dress and little else, accompanied by her fashionable daughter Blue Ivy, 11.
Beyonce’s gown hugged her curves and had a low neckline.
The actress also wore her blonde hair in an elegant half-up, half-down style, which prompted her to be accused of ‘trying to be white’ earlier this week.
She exuded confidence as she posed for photographers with her hands at her sides and her curvy legs crossed.
Blue, who was a dancer on Beyonce’s Renaissance tour, wore a one-shouldered black gown with structured shoulders and futuristic shades.
At the star-studded premiere, Taylor and Beyonce were joined by BFF Blake Lively, Destiny’s Child bandmate Michelle Williams, and Will.i.am.
‘Taylor and Beyonce have been chatting a lot since Beyonce surprised her at her Eras film premiere,’ a source close to Taylor told DailyMail.com. They may appear to be unlikely friends, but they truly understand each other. Both are at the top of their game in a world of imitators and wannabes.
‘When she shut down Kanye West in 2009, Beyonce cemented such a special place in Taylor’s heart. They both know that karma took care of Kanye exactly as they predicted.
Taylor was not the powerhouse she is today at the time. It was just so Beyonce, and ever since that moment, the two of them have celebrated each other’s success. Their music is quite distinct. Their fans are vastly different, as are their lives.
The singer has been in Kansas City with boyfriend Travis Kelce.
‘However, one thing they have in common is that they are both masters of their trade. Taylor would do anything for Beyonce, and she will go to bat for this woman until the day she dies.’
According to The Sun, it was “the most closely guarded premiere this year” because it brought Swifties and the Beyhive together.
‘Because of the stars’ fan bases, crowd control measures were implemented to ensure everyone’s safety,’ they explained.
This comes after it was revealed that Taylor and Travis will move in together permanently if their ‘practice run’ at his $6 million Kansas City mansion goes well, according to insiders, who claim the’soulmates’ have discussed starting a family.
On Tuesday, a moving truck was spotted outside the NFL star’s new home, just one day after Taylor, 33, completed the South American leg of her Eras tour with a sold-out concert in Brazil, with furniture and other items pictured inside.
The couple, who began dating in September, are said to be’obsessed’ with each other, flying to and from his games and her concerts to spend time together.
Taylor’s appearance comes over a month after Beyonce supported her at the premiere of her Eras Tour concert tour at The Grove in Los Angeles.
The Crazy In Love songstress wowed in a silver chrome breast plate styled with a skintight black catsuit as she hit the red carpet.
Taylor gave Beyonce a shout-out after the premiere, posting a fun boomerang of the duo sitting inside the movie theatre as they shared a bowl of popcorn.
‘I’m so glad I’ll never know what my life would’ve been like without @beyonce’s influence,’ she captioned the clip. ‘The way she’s taught me and every artist out here to break rules and defy industry norms.
‘Her generosity of spirit. Her resilience and versatility. She’s been a guiding light throughout my career and the fact that she showed up tonight was like an actual fairytale.’
Beyonce’s London bash comes after the Los Angeles premiere of the Renaissance film, which was held at the Samuel Goldwyn Theater.
It attracted a star-studded crowd including her Destiny’s Child bandmates Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams.
And the film’s latest trailer gave a peek at Beyonce reuniting with the former members on stage for an epic performance.
The LA premiere was a private affair with guests receiving a ‘save the date’ invite that only included the time and a dress code which requested ‘cosy opulence’.
According to Variety, the location of the theatre was only revealed to Beyonce’s guests just 24 hours before the screening took place.
The publication reported that guests were advised to ‘take a ride share to an address in Beverly Hills, where they were then directed to the location of the screening’.
An announcer told guests no photos or recordings were permitted in the theater as Beyonce entered when the lights were dimmed.
For her big night, the multi-Grammy Award-winner turned heads in a rear-length platinum wig and a stunning silver Versace gown.
The star’s ethereal look sparked rumors that she ‘lightened’ her complexion — something her mother Tina Lawson shutdown in a fiery Instagram rant this week.
She furiously struck out at online critics in a post shared Tuesday, writing that she was over people ‘attacking’ her daughter.
Tina accused her daughter’s critics of perpetuating ‘Jealousy and racism, sexism, double standards,’ instead of ‘celebrating a sister or just ignoring if you don’t like her.’
Beyonce’s premiere guests included mom Tina as well as Lizzo, Janelle Monáe and Lori Harvey.
According to the official synopsis for the film, the project ‘accentuates the journey of RENAISSANCE WORLD TOUR, from its inception, to the opening in Stockholm, Sweden, to the finale in Kansas City, Missouri.
Renaissance: A Film by Beyoncé will hit theaters on December 1.
