Chris Evans has archived, at least for the moment, his parenthesis at Marvel, but recently revealed what he misses most about the superhero universe.
Chris Evans has no plans to return to the MCU anytime soon. He recently also addressed the rumors that would point to the return of the original Avengers for a new project, specifying that he was completely in the dark about it and that, in any case, if he were to return as Captain America it would have to be done as usual needs to. The actor has never hidden his affection towards the Marvel character, indeed, he has reiterated it on countless occasions and it is precisely because he is strongly fond of his Captain America that, if he were to return to the MCU, it should be for a just cause . That doesn’t mean, though, that the actor isn’t nostalgic for his time in the MCU. What does he miss most?
Chris Evans reveals what he misses most about being part of the MCU
The last time Chris Evans played Steve Rogers dates back to 2019. Avengers: Endgame was a particularly intense film for Avengers fans, as it saw not only his Captain America leave the scene, but also Black Widow and Iron Man . The actor, however, clarified that at the moment there are no plans in place for a possible return of the three superheroes. At the same time, on The View he told what he misses about Captain America and his commitment to Marvel.
I miss so many things. I mean, it’s inherently very cool to be a superhero. It’s a lot of fun to play pretend and live out your childhood dreams. But friendships are the best part, you know? It’s not just about the cast, which still includes some of my closest friends in the world, but the fact that the crew knows these people so well and you get to see them every six to eight months or so.
Apparently Chris Evans feels nostalgic for the work team that he periodically found on the set for a new adventure of his Captain America, a character involved in several Marvel projects including the ensemble films on the Avengers.
