Real Madrid head coach Carlo Ancelotti has received an offer from Manchester United, according to reports in Spain.
Ancelotti’s current deal with Madrid expires at the end of the season and the 64-year-old has already been approached to become the next permanent manager for Brazil’s national team.
However, Spanish radio station Cadena COPE reports that Ancelotti has also received interest from United and that the Italian could replace Erik ten Hag at the end of the season.
Ancelotti, who has already managed Chelsea and Everton in the Premier League, has already made it clear that he would be keen to extend his current stint at Madrid.
Ten Hag, meanwhile, came under fire after United’s inconsistent start to the season but have now won five out of their last six Premier League games and are six points behind Arsenal.

When asked about his links with the Brazil job at the weekend, Ancelotti said: ‘I don’t think anything about it.
‘I’m proud that one of the best international teams in the world like Brazil is linked to me, that gives me a lot of pride.
‘But I have a contract [with Real Madrid] until 30 June.’
When asked again about his future, Ancelotti added: ‘I repeat, my future will soon be known. I am here for at least six more months.
‘Am I waiting until the last day of my contract for a renewal offer from Real Madrid? Yes.’
